QueerTausch bei AFS

Wir sind für alle Menschen und Familienkonstellationen da

QueerTausch ist eine Gruppe von Ehren- und Hauptamtlichen bei AFS Interkulturelle Begegnungen e.V., die sich mit Themen zu queeren, also lesbischen, schwulen, bi- und pansexuellen sowie und trans* und inter* Menschen im Schüler*innenaustausch und in internationalen Freiwilligendienstprogrammen beschäftigt. QueerTausch versteht sich dabei als Sprachrohr, möchte präsent sein, nicht-heteronormative Familien- und Lebensformen sichtbar machen, zu einem offenen Umgang miteinander ermutigen und daran arbeiten, dass Queer-Sein selbstverständlich wird – auch international!

Wir setzen uns ein!

Homo-, bi- und pansexuelle, trans* oder inter* Gastkinder oder Gasteltern, queere Menschen unter den ehrenamtlich Aktiven oder im Büro – das alles ist schon immer Teil der deutschen Lebensvielfalt! Leider ist der akzeptierende und respektvolle Umgang auf vielen Ebenen – auch international – noch keine Selbstverständlichkeit. Deshalb gibt es QueerTausch!

 „Ein Engagement für AFS kann alles sein: von kurz bis lang, von einem Gespräch bis zu intensiver Konzeptarbeit, von Kuchen backen bis zur Organisation einer Großveranstaltung, von einem Abend bis zur Übernahme eines Postens für ein Jahr. Je nachdem, wie es zu meiner Zeit und Motivation passt. Das Wichtigste dabei: Ich bin nie allein und alles, was ich mache, hat mit anderen Menschen zu tun. Das bereichert und motiviert mich!“
